With 21 years of experience in education—17 of those spent as an elementary teacher—followed by over three years as a Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Coordinator at the district level, Gina has dedicated her career to fostering resilience and connection within school communities.

I value the opportunity to make and build relationships. I am passionate about educating and advocating for students and adults and the importance of focusing on their mental health. ​I am intrigued by behaviors and processes that allow for brainstorming and collaboration.

Professional Background

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the School Care Team brings an extensive background in education, leadership, and mental health advocacy to their role. With a Bachelor of Science in Education from Indiana Wesleyan University, a Master of Science in Elementary Education from Olivet University, and multiple advanced degrees in Educational Leadership and Business Administration, she has built a strong foundation in both academic and operational expertise. She additional is certified in Applied Educational Neuroscience from Butler University and an administrative license further underscore her commitment to understanding and supporting the intersection of education and mental well-being.

Joining the School Care Team in November 2021 as a Program Director, she quickly transitioned into a leadership role, leveraging her passion for trauma-informed care and strategic problem—solving to drive meaningful change.
